Accounting captures the horrors of VR (and adulthood)
Listen, virtual reality headsets are a fundamentally disorienting experience. The best VR games capitalize on this to create a feeling of unease, and that looks to be exactly what Accounting is doing.
The brain child of Crows Crows Crows (The Temple of No) and Justin Roiland (co-creator of and voice actor for Rick & Morty), Accounting is... well, just look at it in the trailer above. A nightmarish sprint through the mind-numbing and reality-distorting world of adulthood, with offices, desks, staplers, skeletons, foul-mouthed ghosts who live in trees, generous amounts of blood pouring from everywhere... Yep. That's adult life, all right.
Accounting will be available for free (freeee) for Steam and HTC's Vive headset later this month. If you're interested in learning more (although not much more), or sign up for the development team's newsletter, head on over to the very stylish official site.
